My 63rd Birthday!! What a "GREAT" Day!!

Today was my 63rd Birthday.......What a GREAT Day It Was!!!
Of course Webster's New World Dictionary says it is the 62nd anniversary of my birth.
Anyway it was a wonderful day.
3 of John's (my husband) sister's and
our youngest daughter, Kim took me out for lunch at the Olive Garden in Wichita.
My youngest son, Travis called to wish me a Happy Birthday and so did John's oldest sister
Pat, that lives in Garden City, Kansas. Today is also Flag Day and John's mothers birthday.
We are back for John's eye appointment on Monday to see about getting a cataract removed
on his right eye.
It was the best day. The roses in the picture's were given to me a week ago while we were still
in Texas, from our oldest son, John D. and his wife, Lynda.
It is really hard to believe I am 63 years old. Where does the time go??
I have been blessed with the grestest of family........they are all wonderful to me and I Love Them Very Much.

THANK YOU ALL FOR A GREAT ANNIVERSARY OF MY BIRTH!!!

Sure glad they didn't put 63 candles on my dessert.

These are the young people that
sang to me.

Cameron's Graduation- Sunday/June 7, 2009

We had a great time at Cameron's (grandson) graduation on Sunday,
June 7th in Austin, Tx. John and I and our two oldest daughters and their husbands and
a granddaughter (Paula) all met at John D. & Lynda's (Cameron's mom and dads) house so we
wouldn't have to take so many vehicle's and several of us rode together
in John D's van.
It was a hot day and I was very glad it was inside.
My camera wasn't cooperating with me so I didn't get many pictures
of Cameron inside the building. I'm sure it was the "operator" and not
the camera.
Anyway when we all met him outside I could just set it on Automatic
and it worked fine.

The last guy walking back to set down is Cameron, he had turned around and smiled at us but I didn't get it. Bummer!!

We are all waiting for graduation to
begin.....if you are wondering why
so many empty sets, we were saving
for Lynda's mother and brothers and
families.

This is Cameron with his grandmother (Lynda's mom).

John & I are in this picture........
SOMEWHERE!!

Proud Mom & Dad

a congratulation hug.

cousin's on his mothers side.....
All three of them graduated
this year.
"Congradulations To All Of You"

Tonight we are in Alvarado, Tx. waiting for an appointment
tomorrow, June 10th, that we had to set up for the RV.
We had a safety recall notice from Fleetwood in the mail
when we returned to Jonestown last week.
After we get the RV taken care of here we are headed back
to Kansas for John to have his eye surgery.
We will be in Wichita for serveral days before heading out
on our next adventure.
THIS HAS BEEN ONE WEIRD YEAR FOR US!!!!!

Granddaughters Dance (Dress Rehearsal)-May 29, 2009

Tonight we are on the road back to Texas after spending 5 nights in Lee's Summit, Missouri to attend 3 of our granddaughters Dance Recital on May 30th and 31st.
The girls are Travis' and Lilli's daughter's. The youngest (Tiarnyn) age 4, middle (Cecilia) age 7,
and the oldest (Tayvia) age 15.

The pictures are just of the dress rehearsal on Friday night, May 29th.
They wouldn't allow you to take pictures during the dance recital so this is all I was able to take.
The lighting was not very good for my camera, but I was able to get a few.
The dress rehearsal was nothing compared to the recital so I was a little disappointed in the pictures. Tayvia, the 15 year old will go to the National's in Florida this June & July.
We had a great time visiting with all of them even tho it was a busy 4 days and 5 nights. The 2 youngest girls, Tiarnyn and Cecilia were able to spend a few nights with us in the RV.
They love staying in the RV.

The Dance Studio they attend is called
"Steppin Out"

Tiarnyn with her daddy, Travis.

Tiarnyn is on the first roll on the right with
arms straight out.

Tiarnyn on the right side

looking at me.......she is 4

years old.

This is Cecilia, age 7, the one

in the middle with the real

dark hair. Yes, she is big for

her age.

This is some of the dad's

doing a dance with their

daughter's.

Tayvia, age 15, with

a friend. Tayvia is

on the left.

This was the only dance that Tayvia

did the night of dress rehearsal. I was

very disappointed in this because she

was in 5 or 6 dances in the recital and

the costumes were beautiful in the recital.

We should be back in Jonestown, Tx. tomorrow, June 4, 2009.

We will attend a high school graduation on Sunday, June 7th of

another grandson, Cameron, youngest son to John D. & Lynda,

our oldest son and his wife.

We will be back in Wichita, Ks. by June 15th for John's eye surgery....

See ya soon!!
