ICE display at Gaylord Texan Resort/Lake Grapevine in Grapevine, TX.

This place was amazing.
We got into Grapevine, TX. at the RV Park around 3 in the afternoon.
The guy at the campground told us we needed to go to Gaylord Texan Resort and see the Christmas display and also the ICE display. It wasn't very far from the campground, so we decided to go check it out. Gaylord Texan Resort is located on the shores of
Lake Grapevine, which is where "The Vineyards" where we stayed is also located.
They call this "Lone Star Christmas". Wish all of you could have
been with us.

THIS PLACE WAS AWSOME!!!

This four-and-a-half acres of indoor atriums. More than a million
holiday lights, electric trains, a 40 foot tall Christmas tree, life size
gingerbread house and 15,000 sparkling ornaments.

This Christmas Tree is made of Wine Bottles. It was amazing.

This ICE display was AWESOME!!

It was 9 degrees in the ICE display.................................

We have never seen anything like this before.

The exhibit is a 14,000 square foot arctic oasis.
It takes 40 people more than a month to create the display.
Sculptures are made from 5,000 blocks of ice. Over two million
pounds of crystal, white and colored ice.

It was 9 degrees in where the ICE display was. We didn't think about taking coats soooooooo was really glad they had some for us to use.
By the time we got out my hands were froze. But worth IT!!
