What a Great Day in Estes Park!

WHAT A GREAT TIME IN ESTES PARK TODAY!!

We drove back to Estes Park right after Donna's dad had his lunch.
We got SMART this time. Instead of trying to find a parking place
in town we stopped at the visitors center and parked the car and
road the shuttle's.
They are having a Sunrise Rotary Arts & Crafts Show in town today through Monday and it was packed.
Also in Loveland, Colorado they are having Thunder in the Rockies, motorcycle rally.
By riding the shuttle's we got to go out around town and see a lot
more than we would have if we had driven. This place is bigger
than I thought.

While parked at the visitors center I walked part way around the Lake........LAKE ESTES.

It is 4 miles around the lake......and no I did not walk all the way around. John stayed at
the center and waited on me.......think the altitude was getting to him. We were going to get another shuttle that went to a different part and would take us by Smokin' Dave's BBQ.
There were 4 or 5 shuttles.......all going different places. While on my walk I went by
the golf course and there was an elk having lunch on one of the trees. We also seen some
bighorn sheep and deer on our way back.....but I couldn't get the camera out fast enough.

IT WAS A GREAT DAY!!!
