Grandpa and his bag of CANDY

On Tuesday, Dec. 23rd, we drove back into Wichita to have Christmas Lunch with 3-Way Pattern. This is a tradition for 3-Way where Donna retired on April 27th 2007. We enjoyed visiting with every one and watching them play the dirty Santa game they play each year.
(No Pictures, Donna forgot the camera). Sigh!!

We had Christmas with our niece (Shelley) and her family on Sunday, Dec. 21st.

They all were good enough to come to Ark City to have Christmas with all of us and grandad. In the center is Shelley with husband ( Kelly) and her two sons. JD with wife, Katelynn on the left. On the right is her youngest son, Cody with his girlfriend, Siearra.
We had a wonderful time with all of them and was soooo happy they could come. LOVE TO YOU ALL!!!

They came out to the RV Park to visit with grandad before going home.

On The Road To Kansas

We made it to Kansas November 23rd and met up with sister's and their husbands in Wichita on Monday, November 24th. We had a great day and they fixed lunch for us. We did a lot of visiting and catching up. Two nephew's came by also. Donna didn't take the camera so no pictures of that day, sorry guys. Donna's dad had a doctor appointment on Tuesday and after his appointment we headed for Ark City where our youngest daughter and grandchildren live.
John and I had Thanksgiving dinner with Kim (youngest) daughter and later her children came back from other grandparents so we had pie with them and then back to the RV.
Kim fixed a great Thanksgiving dinner for us and we had a good day visiting.
On friday, November 28th our youngest son (Travis) and three of his
daughters came in for 3 days. It was so good to see them as it had been 4 months since we had seen them. They live in Lee's Summit, Mo. and left for home this afternoon.
We had a great Thanksgiving getting to see many of our children and grandchildren.

This is Travis and his 3 daughters. Cecilia, Tayvia and Tiarnyn.

Sharing Our Gift from Our oldest granddaughter (Candy) and her family

John and I were surprised with this 2009 calendar Candy had created for us so we would like to share it with you.

We have very talented children and grandchildren.

Rick also took this picture of Sydney, Madison and Peyton.

Candy used
snapshots she had taken except for the two
family pictures that were taken by her dad (Rick) our son.
Candy is very creative and does many things on her digital happy
place.
Rick is a pro when it comes to taking pictures.
We were pleasingly surprised and over joyed with our gift.

We have the greatest kids and grandkids.
