Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona

We are now in Phoenix, Arizona.

Today we went over to Scottsdale which is northeast of Phoenix
a little. We had lunch at this Italian restaurant called
Buca di Beppo.
MmmmMmmmGood!!

After lunch we walked over to the Arts District and Old Town.

This is in Scottsdale, Az. Arts District and part of Old Town.
Arts District has 100 galleries offering art from around the world. Old Town located in the heart of downtown embodies Scottsdale's historic legacy as "The West's Most Western Town".

Scottsdale downtown has more than 500 shops, galleries, restaurants, clubs and pubs all within a village-like atmosphere. This is a pretty neat town.......lots to see and do.

It was a full.....fun day!

This is the way they decorate their walls
next to the streets and highways.
Very Pretty!!

Merry CHRISTmas......JESUS IS LORD!!

CHRIST JESUS IS THE LIGHT.................

Heaven in all its glory could be summed up in one word: CHRIST.
He is the light of creation, the joy of all life, and above all, the deepest
love of our souls. To embrace him is to embrace the meaning of life
and the eternal power of GOD.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12

More of Tucson, Arizona!

Back down town! Thinking we did not see all of this area we went back to re-check it out.
Well, we didn't see all of it but according to the brochure there were shops that we could never find. Maybe a old brochure.
We walked around a little and I
took a few pictures.

We were going to eat at this Italian restaurant but it didn't open unil 4:30 pm and it was only about 3:30 so we left and went over
to Sweet Tomato, just east of the RV and had an early dinner.

10 Miles Out of Town!

We drove back out of Tucson to see if we could find something
interesting. We saw a sign that said "Old Tucson" 10 miles.
A little confused.........we thought Old Tucson was down in the middle of town. Anyway we followed the sign until we came to"Old Tucson Studios" so we parked and went up to the entrance. This is where they have a studio of old films made back in the early west.

Of course like everything anymore it cost to get in.......$16.95 per adult. Decided that was too high and a little disappointed.

As we were leaving John spotted this coyote come running across the road right where we were
............He just stood there and looked at us.

More country side of Arizona.
