On The Road To Kansas

We made it to Kansas November 23rd and met up with sister's and their husbands in Wichita on Monday, November 24th. We had a great day and they fixed lunch for us. We did a lot of visiting and catching up. Two nephew's came by also. Donna didn't take the camera so no pictures of that day, sorry guys. Donna's dad had a doctor appointment on Tuesday and after his appointment we headed for Ark City where our youngest daughter and grandchildren live.
John and I had Thanksgiving dinner with Kim (youngest) daughter and later her children came back from other grandparents so we had pie with them and then back to the RV.
Kim fixed a great Thanksgiving dinner for us and we had a good day visiting.
On friday, November 28th our youngest son (Travis) and three of his
daughters came in for 3 days. It was so good to see them as it had been 4 months since we had seen them. They live in Lee's Summit, Mo. and left for home this afternoon.
We had a great Thanksgiving getting to see many of our children and grandchildren.

Sharing Our Gift from Our oldest granddaughter (Candy) and her family

John and I were surprised with this 2009 calendar Candy had created for us so we would like to share it with you.

We have very talented children and grandchildren.

Rick also took this picture of Sydney, Madison and Peyton.

Candy used
snapshots she had taken except for the two
family pictures that were taken by her dad (Rick) our son.
Candy is very creative and does many things on her digital happy
place.
Rick is a pro when it comes to taking pictures.
We were pleasingly surprised and over joyed with our gift.

We have the greatest kids and grandkids.

Time With Family

Here is what we have been doing for the last 4 days. First we went
to Grapevine, Tx. after leaving Jonestown to see our son (Don) and his family and drop off their
Christmas before heading for Kansas. Don's wife (Donalyn) was not
with them as she had a presentation to give in SanAntonio. We stayed two days in Grapeview and on to Allen, Tx. to see our oldest daughter, her family and drop off their Christmas. Staying 2 days there we will leave in the morning for Kansas.
We had a wonderful time seeing and visiting children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
IT WAS GREAT!!

These two pictures are of CJ (our oldest daughter) Rick (her husband) Candy (their oldest) and Chris (her husband). Candy and Chris' children, Sydney (their oldest), Madison (middle daughter)
and Peyton (their son). Winston (the dog) standing in for Cotton
(CJ & Rick's son). Some how I failed to get Cotton our oldest grandson into the pictures. Winston is Cotton's dog.
