A Great Time In Wichita/Next Lees Summit, Mo.

On May 22nd we headed back to Kansas (from Texas) to attend a great-niece (Ashley's) wedding on May 23rd.
Also Donna's dad had a doctor appointment on May 26th. We stayed in Wichita for 5 days and nights.

While in Wichita we also got to see a new great-great nephew. We went to see him on Sunday, May 24th at our nieces (Michelle) and her husband (Kelly) home in Haysville.
He is their first grandchild. Born on May 12, 2009 to Michelle's oldest son (JD) and his wife (Katelynn).

His full name is Tobiah Jonathan Sanders. They will call him Toby.
Cute! Cute!

Michelle is daughter to Donna's sister (Jan).

Grandma Michelle, she goes by Shelly.

Then on Monday, May 25th, we met for dinner at Texas Road House with some great
people we hadn't seen since retiring in May of 2007.
We were neighbors with them when we lived on Meribeau for 15 years.
They were "GREAT" neighbors and we sure do miss them.
It was wonderful to see them all again. Their daughter (Lizzy) now 16 was just a baby when
we first moved in and met them.
She is a beautiful young woman now. In the picture she is with a friend that had stayed the week end with her.
We still love traveling in the RV but that is one thing we sure do miss. FRIENDS and FAMILY
still in Wichita.

Dave, Debbie & Elizabeth ( They call her
Lizzy) from right to left, and Lizzy's
friend. (Sorry I don't remember her
name).

We are headed for Lees Summit, Missouri in the morning to see our youngest son (Travis) and his family. We will attend a dance recital with our 3 granddaughters, Tiarnyn, Cecilia and Tayvia
on May 30th and May 31st.
May has been full of fun with family and friends. Hope to get "back on the road" after John gets cataract removed from his right eye in June.
