Monday-Estes Park/Tuesday-Loveland, Colorado

MONDAY, September 7th which was Labor Day, we went back into Estes Park because I wanted
to see the Sunrise Rotary Arts & Crafts Show and this was going to be the last day for it.
More about our day at Estes and the arts & crafts show at the bottom.

Loveland.....A Work of Art
TUESDAY, September 8th, we decided to go to downtown Loveland where there was a museum/
gallery and we were told there was some sculptures through the town between 4th and 5th street. Also there are many art galleries by local artist.
After touring the town of Loveland we went back out to another sculpture park just east of high way 25 called Chapungu Sculpture Park/Promenade Shops at Centerra.
All of these sculptures are made from stone.

This was a huge sculpture park........I didn't take many pictures this time and we didn't take time to go through the whole park as it was getting late and close to the time to fix dad his supper.

The next 7 pictures are taken at Chapungu Sculpture Park

They say......."The Arts Bring Together the Best of Loveland"

The next 9 pictures were taken in downtown Loveland.

Sculptures on street corners.

This is called monkey business.

This building is of a local artist and they were giving classes
today when we went in to see all the art.
This is a mural painted on the side of the
building.

This sculpture was at a corner and close
to the art gallery building.

MONDAY, September 7th Labor Day................Back to Estes Park so Donna could see the
Sunrise Rotary Arts & Crafts Show in Bond Park right downtown.
PACKED............This place was so packed there was hardly any place to park. We went to 3
parking lots before finding a space to park. NO shuttle's today. We learned the shuttles only
run on Saturdays and Sundays. BUMMER!!
We did have lunch at a really nice restaurant right across the street from the arts & crafts show.

As you can see all the tents set up for the show. John set on a bench and waited for me to go
look at all the crafts. He didn't wear a cap and got his face sun burned. LOTS of arts and crafts. After the craft show journey and not buying
anything we went to the shops..............and this is where I spent my money.

It was a fun day!!

I think this guy (sculpture) came down from Loveland to check out the arts & crafts show.

More of Beautiful Estes Park!!
